N358 On One Side And 10 The Other

Updated

Want to make sure pharmacy gave me the correct medication. I had taken some pain medication that has M367 but today the pharmacy gave me a pill with the letter "n" on the left side and "358" on the right side of the score line. On the other side it has number "10". Just want to make sure I got the correct medication for pain. Not more or less of what my Dr has been giving me. I take a 10mg dose. I am supposed to take 10mg of hydrocodone and 325mg of acetaminophen. Want to make sure that is what I got today.

RE: n358 hydrocodone

Why do people always say "I found this pill"?... B.S. why can't they just say I got this pill, trying to make sure it's what I think it is or bought or whatever. The "I found this pill" is really lame and it's been insulting to those of us that know that's a bs line and you're just trying to see if it's something to feel high on or whatever reason they have for not just asking straight out what it is without going into all of the I found this pill crap...

I'm trying to find out if the pain meds my doctor gave me are Norcos. It says on the pill n-358 and on the other side it says 10.

I’ve never posted here but in the defense of some people who have said, “l found this pill”, it just may truly be legit! Believe me, as a parent of 7 kids, l cannot count the times that l have “found” a pill and wanted to know what it was! Most times l simply call my local pharmacy & thankfully they’ve never been a drug in which l have concern over however l have also looked them up online. So maybe it’s not fair that you lump everyone into the same category as being someone who ‘bought’ a controlled substance!

To the person that says "why do people always say 'I found this pill...'" - I totally agree! it's BS! And as a chronic pain pt, it insults me, too! I came here because I usually get the yellow Norcos, but this time I got the white N 358 front and 10 on the back with no split. It says it's from Lupin Lab.

So, I wanted to double check before I take them! Luckily it's really Hydrocodone 10-325. It's brand name is Norco, Lortab, Vicodin. Sorry, I had to update what I left out since I clicked sent too early.

Re: Jypsy (# 4) Expand Referenced Message

Both of you are just bored with your own lives and need to find something better than picking apart the way people approach a topic on a med chat regarding their pain medication. Why don't you self-analyze yourself and analyze your life and try to figure out what the real problem is that's bugging you. Who gives a s*** how people word things. Are you really that bored with life? Do you really have that much time in your hands that you made a comment in regards to how people approach a question? It's absolutely pointless, useless, childish, and just downright annoying. Go get a hobby, you clearly need to figure out what changes you need to make in your life to gain some confidence and create content within your life... seriously, go get educated, read a book, learn a new language, get a new hobby, get off social media, get your own identity, stop following others, do something that challenges you, increase your consciousness, stop wasting peoples time because you're bored and insecure.

I got an Rx filled for Norco 10/325. The pharmacy filled white pills that are scored on one side with the imprint "n 368". The other side said "10". What is this?

Who cares if they say they found that pill,I'm a chronic pain medication user because I have four things wrong with my back and I could care less if someone says that. They just wanna know what it is so what. Go back to your miserable lives and stop getting offended for no reason at all.

I’m trying to find out what a white oval pill is with a bar and the letter n and the numbers 350 on one side and a 10 on the other side?

Yes I found out that this new pill from CVS is the same thing as the one that was issued before. My problem is they should notify the patient of the change when they give them to You! The problem with this and all the other meds are the same they all are additive! Which means they want you to continue to take it so you can get hooked on them so they can make more and more money! Sad!!!

Re: susan (# 2) Expand Referenced Message

No need to be so angry. It's all cool. Everyone has their own way of asking questions and own life circumstances to deal with. Not everyone us in your same condition. Actually, most people on here start out by saying "I have a prescription for blank and need to know if it's the right med". This world needs more love, kindness an compassion. Sounds like you may need to deal with your negative outlook and find some happiness. I wish you peace!

Absolutely true!! Guess that person, Susan, doesn't have kids because a lot of parents are concerned when they FIND a pill in their children's belongings... Just because you might buy narcotics off the streets doesn't mean that everyone who inquires about them is doing the same...js

I went from yellow oval to n358 and I absolutely can't take them due to stomachaches, feeling sick, can't eat, and my dr says if u cant take them u don't need them. I've got cancer and had my colon removed, multiple back troubles and surgeries. Why the change? Just have the guts to say no more. What do I do?

Are some versions of Lortab weaker than other manufacturers? Is hydrocodone biphosphate the same as Lortab?

Re: daydreamer (# 5) Expand Referenced Message

I'd say it's about 50/50. 50% of the people who come here and post are full of s*** and try and hide the real reason behind some believable stuff. I do believe people when they say they got a different medication from the pharmacy than they're used to. And they just want to be sure. Pharmacies change medication or suppliers all the time without patients knowing. Even parents who find pills in their children's room. However don't for one second think that there isn't a bunch of addicts who come on here trying to make sure they got what they wanted since they haven't seen a new form of norcos yet.

Ya gotta luv it. Rather than read the script info on the bottle, let's get on the internet and ask the world. "After all, it's the internet. No one would ever be wrong on the internet cause if it's on the internet, it HAS TO BE TRUE." It should say ON THE BOTTLE "hydroc/acetam 10/325". Then the next line should say "Substituted for Norco". If you have the bottle & are not buying them from one of the *****s selling their pain meds that have caused true chronic pain sufferers so much agony & suffering --- & if the fbi are not monitoring this forum I would be very surprised... Be well & I hope your pain is well managed.

Re: mark (# 16) Expand Referenced Message

I would change pharmacies immediately! It’s what I did. CVS pharmacy did the same thing to me and I had HORRIBLE experiences with those white brand of pills as well. You are not alone! I did some research and found many discussion threads and topics on those white pills that have the n358 on them. They are AWFUL. I got stomachs as well. I couldn’t eat or sleep most of the time either. The worst of all, they gave me little to NO pain relief at all. Plus I would suffer with these TERRIBLE migraines and I just couldn’t take it anymore so I completely switched pharmacies. After that, I was fine because as long as they were NOT that particular brand fatter pills that had 10 on one side and n358 on the other side, I was finally okay again.

Your doctor will be fine if you tell them you’re changing pharmacies! Do that if you haven’t already and you’ll be fine I promise.

Good luck.

Re: Rita (# 26) Expand Referenced Message

Has your doctor changed your medication yet? They are definitely a horrible quality. As I said, they were the same for me. I had little to no relief at all. Tylenol fillers is what I call them, as well as many other people if you really go do some research and find the many discussion topics on them.

If your doctor has not changed your medication as of yet, you could switch pharmacies like I did so you don’t have to deal with that awful quality anymore. If you cannot do that, ask your doctor if you could try out Percocet for a week to see how they work for you? They may work better.

Good luck.

Re: Brush (# 27) Expand Referenced Message

They are a horrible quality. Seeing as how this is an old thread. Honestly, I didn’t realize how old until I looked back, so I’m a little late. But yes, they are a horrible quality! They personally gave me little to no relief. I also had HORRIBLE migraines... they’re nothing more than “Tylenol fillers”.

If you do your research, you will find many discussion threads on the topic of that brand of pills. If you have the time, you will see.

Re: Rita (# 26) Expand Referenced Message

Same for me! My pharmacy switched out my brand and I got stuck with those same fatter white ones that have the 1 0 on one side and n358 on the other side. I had the same experience. They DID NOT work the same. I was getting little to no relief whatsoever. So, I began looking them up and researching. I found a lot of people in many discussion threads talking about their many different awful experiences with this same pill form. They also caused me to get TERRIBLE migraines as well about a few days to a week after I began taking them. It came down to me completely switching pharmacies due to this issue. When I did research online about them, I found SEVERAL other people who were going through the same thing! With many different side effects. You’re right. They do not work the same, not at all. They are actually what me and a lot of other people looked up to find that they were “Tylenol fillers”. Yes, filled with more Tylenol than usual, which is why they do not work the same and only give little to no relief. I hope by now you have switched pharmacies. If you ever want to read up about this form and brand of pill, whats in them, what they do, etc. you can look them up online. You will find MANY discussion threads on them and see that you are not alone. They really don’t work the same and it is not in your head so don’t let anyone tell you that. Do some research. You will soon see many people proved it.

Re: Arandomguy (# 19) Expand Referenced Message

In a way, you’re right. I totally agree. And I only get on here because I get a legit legal prescription of 120 Norco 10’s monthly from my MD Pain Care Specialist for my Chronic back pain. I have several things wrong with my back. I mean, they even found issues I didn’t even know I had that was messed up in my back when they did my MRI right after my X-rays. I wasn’t surprised though, because of the car wrecks I’d been in, along with the falls I’d had.

As I was saying though, you’re right- to an extent. Think about it... a junkie would “know” their pills and every form they come in. Don’t you think? If they’re that much of an addict, yes, they definitely know for sure every form of pill their is so they don’t get ripped off. I used to live in a street full of “junkies”, and not just any junkies, “pill junkies”. I used to hear them all day, “I know my pills, I’m not stupid ain’t nobody going to screw me over”. That’s what they’d say in their “dealings” or whatever you want to call it. Luckily, I was able to MOVE FAR AWAY from that neighborhood and I never looked back. I’m not here to judge anyone and I’m honestly not trying to because it’s just plain wrong and doesn’t make me any better by judging anyone. I’m just simply stating. That’s all. So I hope no one takes offense. I also moved far away because I didn’t want kids around that sorta thing because these people were pretty open about their business and kids didn’t need to be around that. Plus, there were other reasons we moved. But I’m js... not judging.
