Mylan 777 Round White

Recently pharmacist at cvs filled my prescritiom with mylan 777 2 mg. Did not work for me. I took it for 3 consecutive nights and it kept me awake. The last night I took 3. Went back to cvs and explained my experience to the pharmacist. He was very gracious and swapped it for the other company I normally use. Smaller pill. Thank you cvs. Has anyone had a similar problem with type of lorazepam?

Mylan Pharmaceuticals does list that tablet as containing 2mgs of Lorazepam, which is a generic for Ativan. I never had a problem with it, but we are all different.

The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability.

What are the markings on the other tablet you received?

Yes. Mysn use to be the best years ago. But i have had the same experience for a month. It doesn't make me drowsy at all. I think there's something wrong with the formulation with this recent batch. I am going to go back to Publix and see if I can exchange them. Or I will get my prescription back and take it somewhere else.

Mylan has has a shortage of 1mg tablets for sometime. Supposed to be on backorder till the end of this month. My pharmacy filled my script with the 2mgs and they actually work better for me. Gosh I sure hope they don't change the formula. I've been taken Mylan since 2004 when the brand name Ativan changed to a generic made by Biovail out of Canada. They merged with Valeant which now still makes a generic and folks are saying that they have the original formula from Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. My local Wal-Mart carries both but the brand is super expensive. I still won't believe it's the real deal until I tried it. But Mylan works well for me. Not like the original brand Ativan but it takes the edge off to manage extreme panic disorder. As many say each one works diferently on everyone. I've tried them all qnd only Mylan has worked for me.
