Hello, Brenda! How are you?

For pain relieving efficacy, these doses are roughly equivalent.

However, Morphine and Oxycodone are two different narcotics. While both have been proven effective, one sometimes works better for some people than another.

Being coupled with the Acetaminophen can also make the Oxycodone work better for some people, so they can take a lower dose of it and still achieve adequate pain relief.

The FDA classifies both of these medication as being narcotic analgesics. So they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth.

Is there anything else I can help with?

I've been on Oxycodone 10/325 4xdaily for a couple of years. It has gotten to where it doesn't work nearly as well as it did in the beginning. My doctor just switched it to Morphine Sulfate IMM REL 15MG TAB 4xdaily. I feel like I have bugs crawling on me. Is that a sign I'm allergic and need to stop taking it and contact my dr immediately or is it something my body is adjusting to? I have a lot of pain related issues from multiple surgeries and I'm not just looking for a "high". I take it as prescribed. PLEASE HELP ME!
