Baby 7 months old & 8 kgs was suffering from cold (for the past one month) doctor suggested Crize M syrup montelukast sodium& levocetirizine dihydrochloride 2.5 ml-1*30days?" I was suggested from a different source that prolonged usage of montelukast sodium& levocetirizine dihydrochloride may be harmful to baby. Please reply

It is always best to follow a doctor's instructions, rather than an outside source.

The NIH lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and dry mouth.

Achyut, you should consult a doctor to be sure, this side does not prescribe any medications, nor provide a diagnosis.
