Methylprednisolone Talet 4 M.g.

I was just prescribed this med. and am afraid to take it.

Why are you afraid to take it? It is generic prednisone which is a steroiod. You dont want to take it all the time, but it really works for imflammation in the lungs, in the joints, etc. Side effects include massive hunger, dizziness, thirst, among others.

How long is Methylprednisol good on the shelf. I have some that was prescribed to me in 2007. I still have some, and have just come down with poision ivy and was thinking of taking it. My dosase is 4MG tablets, and I have 24 of them.
