Methadone With No Markings

My boyfriend was given a small round white pill with no imprints, just a line on one side. He was told it was methadone but shouldn't there be imprints on it if it was?

There methadone if they have a score on the back then they're definitely methadone

If your boyfriend isn't going through a doctor and licensed pharmacy, the pill could literally be anything from A to Z. The only way to prove that they actually have methadone in them is to have the contents analyzed by a lab or drug panel.

Physically identical counterfeits are ever so prominent these days that he pretty much has to obtain his medication legally or else he could be risking his life thinking it's one thing when it may end up turning out to be poison.

You have to be overly cautious when it comes to unknown substances and their origin. Please don't just take someone's word for it being methadone, but do whatever it takes to know for yourself that they are safe; even if it means taking a sample to show a pharmacist.
