Hi amanda,

Were you prescribed methadone by a doctor? Did he tell you to inject it? I know that transdermal patches and injections tend to be more effective... However, I have read that it is quite dangerous to try and turn the pill form of methadone into an injectable substance, and I'm not here to put anyone in danger. I would recommend that you ask a licensed medical professional about a better delivery system for this pain medication or something similar.

Why!!!! Although there is methadone used for injection it is only available in medical centers etc. Methadone is an excellent drug and probably the best long acting medecine on the market. Oxycontin and others didn't appear until th '90s. Another long acting pain med is Exlago, it is hydromophinr and lastd beterr n 12-24 hours, Ask your phsrmacy for the insert. Good luck...
