I have been taking Cenestin for three and a half years now. I had a complete hysterectomy and bilateral oopherectomy and have taken cenestin since that time. I do not have any comments other than, it seems to cause weight gain, and make weight loss more difficult.
I am interested in hearing other people's experience on this drug and if they have taken any other menopausal drugs, how this compares.
Cenestin is a form of synthetic estrogen that is used to help alleviate various women's health issues that involve low estrogen levels.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of HRT as possibly including nausea, spotting, bloating, heartburn, weight changes, mood changes, and vaginal discharge.
