I was a resident Hillsborough County 1994-2008 In 2006 hit by a car on 48 th and Busch Blvd.:( anyway after my vehicle insurance was exhausted, law suit done. I was left with no real compensation for future medical problems. SO I was on Medicaid too like you and I had no luck. (Besides cash) I went to Superior when it was legit for cash!!! I think you should try Tampa Genera l I'm sure they have a program for pain . Mgmt a d will take Medicaid you 'll most likely need a referral, I would try University Comm Hosp. THERE'S San awesome hospital in West Tampa area, I can't remember the name.. Anyway try the hospitals.. Good luck!

Oh also Dr. S Kamat, he's a neurologist he used to be . On Water s ave in Tampa, he'll take the institution or Medicaid, but he only gave me Vicodin and soma, which might hold you over til you find elsewhere. Also Google Lutz see what docs are there, also Indian Rocks has a small clinic you should goo ghost or that too, I will keep replying as I slowly remember other sources. I WAs a patient at Superior when it was on 56 th, now I see its combined with Md and More......oh there is one more he takes cash only I think I cannot recall his name right now but he had an office on WTers near Dr Lamar, also Google Thonotosassea bad as spelling, but . I he as rd of an African Dr. In Thnossase area. Ok one more I gotta go thru these cards...Ok Google Dr. MCDaniel s, see if and where he may be practicing. Sorry this is so scattered . There's a memorial in NYC and SWANN AVE, I think that's the one I described as Hyde Park Area. Ok Dr.J Fastasia Md, Fastasia does the heavier meds well he did, this is an old card idk where he might b practicing.

Has anyone on here heard of a Dr Feldman? His office is over by St Joseph Hospital. This is my first time trying to find pain management clinic. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

@Suze,

If I could offer any helpful information, Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any 'specific medication' when you go see a new doctor. Just make sure to transfer or take a copy of all your medical records with you. Then, the best approach (in my opinion), is to discuss up front and honestly what has or hasn't worked for you in the past.

Most doctors will take it under consideration and hear you out if you approach them in this manner. I believe a lot of patients don't get the medication they need because they are approaching the doctor in such a needy way that they are being viewed as addicts or junkies with "drug seeking behavior" and not regular patients. So as awkward as that may seem, it is something to consider and be made aware of, because sadly enough, that is how many close-minded doctors tend to think.

Hopefully Dr. Feldman isn't that type of physician, but if you try to come in with a positive or good-natured attitude, I think you'll get the most out of your first experience.

I hope this helps! :)
