M523 10 325 Percocet

A friend of mine had some of these and they made her sick. I had to have her stomach pumped. We saw on this website where these were fake pills. Is there any truth to this?

Hi Melissa,

A white oblong shaped pill with M523 on one side and 10/325 on the back is reportedly identified as a generic Acetaminophen + Oxycodone HCL tablet, made by Mallinckrodt.

Having said this, her pill does fit the description of a real product... However if she isn't going through her doctor to obtain a prescription then they could be anything pressed and shaped to look like something real. I'm not insinuating that this is the case here, but she shouldn't have to question their legitimacy if she filled a prescription...

Furthermore, everyone is subjected to the risk of side effects with any pharmaceutical drug. Symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, etc are all considered to be common side effects. My suspicion is that she might be sensitive to one or more of the inactive ingredients.
