There is no difference, the active ingredient in Adderall is Mixed Amphetamine salts, it is used to treat conditions such as ADHD or Narcolepsy.

Some of the most common side effects may include: nausea, insomnia, irritability and decreased appetite.

You can read more about the medication here:

I have orange capsules that are suppose to be generic adderal. They say "20 mg. M. Amphet Salts" which is indeed adderal. They look exactly like what I usually get in 30mg capsules except these 20 mg caps have powder inside of them instead of beads. I am questioning if these have been tampered with, I'm thinking maybe they were opened, empty, and filled with a random substance, because when I took one I felt nothing and even though it is a smaller dose I should still have some effects. My main question is can 20 mg M. Amphet capsules contain powder instead of beads?

If you are being treated for ADHD, THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE in the effectiveness between 'generic' adderall 'mixed amphetamine salts' and Brand Name Adderall 'mixied amphetamine salts.
If you are ADHD, Those that say they are the same want your money, not to see you improve. This is the big lie of the US Drug industry.
BUT... if you are abusing or misusing these drugs... you get what you deserve.

Genuine Adderall says "Adderall" on it. Other wise the capsules look the same. You have to request that you doctor perscribe the real thing. Sadly many of the Obama Plans do not cover the cost of quality name brand drugs, prefering insteat to support the Currupt Chines Pig Farmers... er I mean, Drug manufacturers.
