Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allow to differ in the amount of the active ingredients by as much as plus or minus 20%. Thus, these news one may be a little lower or higher in it, so you could be experiencing some withdrawal effects, or new side effects. Either way, things should improve in a few weeks, once your body adjusts.

The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
