I just got off the phone to the center of drug addition because i take both lyrica and oxycotin and the durg to take to come off these drugs is called SOBOXEN. ask your dr for this if you are trying to come off either of these drugs, they are both considered opions, hope i spelled that right, both are very strong drugs, i have been taking them both and after my next surgury i will be asking for this drug, it will lesson the effect of weaning off these drugs, check it out on the net under drug addition, hope this helps some of yoy out ther

I'm going to be taken off Lyrica in Sept., after seeing a neurologist; I have tried several times to get off it and had severe withdrawal symptoms and seizures. I'm taking it for both epilepsy and fibromyalgia. I personally know several others people who are addicted to Lyrica. It helped me a lot but the trouble is the addiction and the severe side-effects, which include the loss of over half my teeth, which I have struggled hard to care for, but which keep breaking. I also gained 35 pounds even though I eat less than 1000 calories a day. Until I got on Lyrica, I was never overweight. I'm in my 40s.

I TAKE LYRICA 75 MG ON EVERY 3RD DAY FOR THE LAST ONE MONTH, HOW SHOULD TAPER IT TO GET THIS STUFF COMPLETELY OFF?

I did not have any trouble stopping. I just fidnt like the fact I gained 35 lbs & it wasnt helping. I also started having balance problems &
my teeth started just snapping at gum line (4) of them the rest started rotting. I assumed it was my thyroid till Isee other people having issues.

Hi everyone. I took pregabalin for a month for anxiety, after reading the horrendous problems that people are having with this drug decided i must get off it. For the past 6 months i have suffered pain like never before in the muscles of my shoulders and arms. Please can anyone out there tell me if they are/have experienced this same problem. Regards to you all.

OMG no. First, subs will not do anything for lyrica withdrawals.
More importantly, someday you’ll have to come off the suboxone & those withdrawals last much longer than the pain pill withdrawals.
You’re not preventing withdrawals you are just delaying them then prolonging them.
Don’t do it.

Magnesium helps. I had issues when I stopped taking Gabapentin and magnesium helped.
The withdrawals from these meds take longer than opiate withdrawals.
