Is it ok to take lyrica 6hrs after taking 10 mg of methadone.

Contrary to what many people think, Lyrica is not a narcotic or analgesic of any type. It actually contains the active ingredient Pregabalin, which is an anticonvulsant that can help with some types of nerve pain, due to its action on brain chemicals.

Unless I'm mistaken Lyrica IS a schedule 4 drug. So while it's not an opiate it can definitely make you goofy, especially at high doses, especially if you are just starting it.

Yes at first the doses are very strong. I have taken Methadone & Lyrica together just a 10 mg dose a day (methadone 10) & the Lyrica for 2 weeks I was a zombie sleepwalking , but after 2 weeks my body adjusted to both meds and I will firmly state that the two meds combined gave the best relief from pain than any Percocet , oxy IR 30, Norco those two together did it for me. Then I left that stste and got off of the lyria and methadone. Im in Pm in my new state and have been on the long acting MScontin for awhile doc does not prescribe methadone so I had the worst leg pain after having facet injections that relieved pain in my back but the nerves in my legs were burning so ive been on lyrica im maybe on my 3rd or 4th day and the combination of the 2 have me to where I cannot drive so now im waiting for my body to tolerate this pizer brand that is giving me nasty sulphur burps, has anyone experienced this? but yes you cab take methadone & lyrica my dr. prescribed me both a few years ago

hi i take 180mg methadone at 0830 then 20mg valium at 0900 then 600mg lyrica at 1000 crash till about 3pm then am fine till about midnight then crash again till 0800 lost the last 10 years been on no paon but couldn't tell you where the time has gone been in bed most of the time but better than the agony i spent the previous ten years in sin gas con gas????

I wwas up until 2 days ago taken magneseium but i have been having severe joint pain could this be the problem

cissy magnesium is very good for back and joint pain, drink lots of water with it. i also use epsom salt in my bath it is a magnesium salt and absorbs directly into the skin and joints. i know this sounds really easy but i get up in the middle of the night when im hurting and take one of these baths it works great, relaxes me enough that i can sleep, get the water as hot as you can stand it add 1 cup epsom salt and relax. i also add essential oils or a sports alcohol, the alcohol is usually red or green and is a blend of alcohol magnesium and capsicum or wintergreen. use 1 or 2 cups .i do this several times a week or more. youll be surprised at how much relief you get. let me know how it works for you. ps i get the epsom salt and alcohols from the dollar store,
