Looking For A Doctor In Warren Michigan For Pain Management

I had a friend tell me about a doctor in warren michigan that was prescribing the medicine that i need to get back being able to function again. He said he knows 3 people that have went to the same doctor and all were giving the same thing,but all he knows is what the doctor wrote ,and that the office fee was like 138 dollars, and like i mentioned before that the doctor is located in warren michigan. I have 13 different problems in 8 different disc in my cervical,thoratic,and lumbar spine, as well as a number of other chronic pain ailments. I have lost my quality of life and have a very hard time funtioning anymore.So if anyone has any info on this doctor please let me know. I can assure you i will not share the infoe with anyone else, for i have seen a number of doctors get shut down after accepting patients that are just trying to get high rather than manage there pain because they get greedy.Then those of us that are legitimatly hurting are left to suffer. I'm sorry, but we have no way of knowing what any doctor will charge for an office visit, nor what they will, or will not prescribe.

When you are asking for specific medications, it is always going to be difficult to find a doctor that will accept you as a patient and write those prescriptions, because most doctors see this as drug seeking behavior.

i would so appreicate knowing where this dr. is in warren, michigan my mom is 73 yrs old and is now having no luck getting any pain meds from here dr. of many years...he for many years has given them to her and the last time she went there he had a sign up in the waiting room he was no longer prescribing any narcotics.

If you find a doctor that will prescribe that to you it will be a corrupt doctor or a corrupt institution . A doctor wouldnt give that script to a terminal cancer patient. Also if you have not been on these meds in awhile overdose is possible if you somehow illegally do get these all . And why is xanax essential for your pain management

Hey Damon, Pain is a whole different ballgame than being a drugseeker. They don't want to get "high". They are just really hurting. It is a problem for sure. I really feel for those in excruciating pain.

Pain medications can make people anxious hence the need for Xanax. You are obviously not a doctor. I hate ignorance.

That's right and it also intensifies the effects from the opiate. Some people are in need of this type of medication due to severe pain. Many cancer patients are on much higher amounts. Just think of the ones who use the fentanyl patches 100mcg and still take that same amt. of oxy. Also you can know what a doctor is going to prescribe bc once you've been on these meds for a period of time and they work for your pain that's usually what they will go with if they feel the need is legitimate and if you let the receptionist know what the problem is and what you are wanting done, most will check before they take your payment or make you an app.

I paid $80 to go to Dr pinion, have been on dilaudid, norco, and Xanax, by the same Dr.for 5 years and they took my money yet gave me nothing!

I agree with Rob. There is no legit doctor that would prescribe that amount of medication to someone with back problems. Do you realize just how many patients use "back problems" as the source for their pain? It's a ridiculous amount.

There is a good reason for it too. Almost all people over the age of 25 will show bulging and/or herniated discs on their MRIs. Nine times out of ten, these problems are minor and can be treated with Advil. There are a few exceptions, and since the doctor cannot tell exactly how the nerves are responding in that area, they have to go by what the patient tells them and by manipulating the back to check range of motion. Essentially, back problems are the easiest to fake.

I guarantee there is no doctor handing out meds in the manner stated. Whomever told you this was absolutely pulling your leg!

Tiffany, when you say "gave you nothing" but took your money, what exactly do you mean? Did the doctor examine you, and determine that the amount of pain medication that you were receiving was extreme? What condition are you suffering with? Did the doctor decide on a different pain treatment, rather than the narcotics?

I think maybe that the doctor had a different pain treatment in mind than what Dr Tiffany was prescribing LOL. On the other hand, if the doctor didn't exam her, or did absolutely nothing, than she should be getting a refund and reporting him.
Again, you sound like a very kind and caring person, keep up the goodness.

There are 2 Doctors in Warren & one also has a clinic in Livonia as well. Dr. Paese DO is the BEST! His injections do not hurt either whenever you may need them. He would want to see you every month for your meds., but he is SO helpfull & caring.

The other pain mgmnt oc. in Novi, Michigan is Dr. Eric Kovan~he is good too & will write you what you need (of course if he thinks you do~he trys to accommodate.

Sorry you're having problems but you need to get off so many meds. You're obviously addicted at this point and going to end up dead if you keep taking that many meds.
I know you don't want to hear it but you builda tolerance to pain mmedication and obviously yours is very high. I suggest you get help lowering the dosages before you od

I agree a full blown i****. Why would u ever say take your money. Seriously drug dealers don't even take your money. You hand it to them and they hand you what you desire. Now As you ride your life out like burger King have it your way. Your upset because someone wouldn't write an rx for you. So basically your drug dealer wasn't a drug dealer at all and your pissed he used your money and allocated it for his services and that's to treat people with real problems because of pain. Smfh. Too funny took my money. I would have drove you to the dope house and copped you a bundle and cvs for your rig and tell you you have an appointment.

I stay in Warren, Mi and my Dr changed my dose on my morphine. I use to take 30mg every 12 hours and now he wants me to take 20mg but I can not find it and I have no medicine now.

Don't bother trying to get a primary care or pain management doctor to prescribe you narcotics unless you are terminally I'll because the government has decreed that people must live in pain. What I would do is find a methadone clinic and tell them that you're addicted to illicit drugs. They'll put you on methadone and your pain will be gone.

It maybe easy to fake but also some of the worst pain a man can be in. I have crawled in the floor crying like a little b****. I blew my disc out, all fluid leaked out. and scared of surgery cause nurses told me they are not that reliable and would become worse off. I did this at 21 and 41 now. I have other disc problems, spinenosis, bone spurs. right leg asleep all the time, and few other problems. I worked construction since 17 and I just wanna work and enjoy my life and not laid up on the couch collecting disability. I wouldn't make it. I'm not out here to feel high, I am out here to get up in the mornings and go about my business. I have tried everything under the sun and methadone works best for me. I got prescribed xanax and it does help with pain and some pain meds give u anxiety. So in those words. if u don't know what u r talking bout or just trying to stir up s*** for people who are not faking it. just keep it too yourself and stop worrying about something u don't understand.

I went to a pain clinic looking to find a doctor closer to where I live. I have fibromyglia, CFS, osteoarthritis, nerve damage in both my legs, carpel tunnel in both wrists. I was in a car accident years ago, my neck is shaped like S,have hernatied disks,bulging disks in my lower back. I got no exam. I have all my records, been on meds for 15 years. Like I said no exam, all they said is they would not treat me. Because of all the people who abuse there medications people like me who have documentation can't get treatment. It's wrong.

I am seeing a Doctor right now in Warren, I had no problem when I first started seeing him years ago when I lived in Warren. I am looking for a pain doctor closer to where I live know. If you want his name I can give it to you, there are also other pain doctors that work out of the same office. Like I said I had no problem with him keeping me on what I was taking, and I have been seeing him for about six years. Now he wants to lower my meds, he already has lowered what I take for sleep.
