Long Term Effects Of Prozac On Fetus?

Has anyone heard of any studies that look at long term side effects of prozac on children whose mothers took prozac while pregnant? I have 4 sons, 2 I took prozac with, those 2 have sensory processing and other issues, the other 2 don't. coincidence? probably not....

I have a daughter that had a son, 2 yrs ago, while on 40 mg per day of prozac. The son appears normal, as does the mom at this time

neither of my sons showed any signs of problems until 3-4 years........

There is no way to say for certain and from the searching I did for information, it appears that the subject is still under debate, no studies have been completely definitive.

However, in the drug monograph for pregnant or nursing mothers, it is listed that Prozac is suspected of causing Neonatal Adaptation Syndrome.

This, however, would not apply to children who are 3 to 4 years old when they start showing signs of something, this is for infants.

Mom just had 2nd baby today while on prozac 40 mg generic. Everything appears fine, both with mom and baby boy.

I am curious about the side effects of Prozac on the unborn child. I took it through my pregnancy 9 years ago and my doctor at that time said no transference to the child.Now I am hearing a way different story.....it even STATES it on my prescription NOW! My son had motor skill probelms and seizures and hearing loss....yet none of my other 3 children had anything like that.........I never took it with them.Anyone know the side effects?
