When I take linzess with food it gives me severe diarrhea Will this be sufficient to clear me out for a colonoscopy ?

It would be best to double check with your doctor. Sometimes that doesn't fully cleanse, so something else may still be required.

Other side effects of Linzess, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, bloating and flatulence.

It's best to take Linzess 30 mins to an hour prior a meal and not with food, as directed by the label. My friend is a pharm rep for it and he says this is important. When I first started taking it I thought alternating days would help but he said it's important to take it every day and that eventually the severe diarrhea should subside. He was right.

I just got my sample 145mcg. I thought the Dr. said to take this evening and now I have server diarrhea how long we'll it take for it to stop. I think I'm in for a long night

I too just picked up samples of Lizness, took at 11:40am .. Had diarrhea hour later and now small amounts every so often. I tried amitzia but too many side effects started happens and no bm. I am praying this one just takes time, I hate living like this every day.

I just started taking Liness this week, prior to starting it my doctor had me do a prep normally used for colonoscopy procedures. All i had had it abdominal cramping and pressure still no movement. About how many day on the meds before should i have a movement?

I have taken Linzess two days. Within 20 minutes...watery diarrhea...over and over. Missed work yesterday. This constipation started with low carb diet. I have appointment with gastro Oct 9. I had a CT scan with contrast 3 weeks ago..no tumor no diverticulitis..still have pain lower left quadrant. Help

Does your friend "drug rep" have any advice on the abdominal bloating that is associated? I take linzess every morning prior to food my abdominal bloating is more every day I am having a BM once every morning feel good right after but after 2 more meals so around 2pm I begin to be bloated and feel like I have to go to the bathroom again but I don't go and the abdominal bloat is pretty bad and today when I woke up it hadn't gone down it's worse. I've been taking linzess for a week now will my body regulate and be able to not be bloated every day?
