keto/gaba/lido/amit 30 gm is what I got and the second day I used it I had terrible diarrhea and my eyes had a foggy look when I tried to see. Also does this effect the nerve in the brain because I am off balance a lot? I am almost afraid to use it. Why doesn't this web site give some of the side effects?

Hello, Omie! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you've had.

The reason the side effects aren't listed anywhere is because this a specialty compounding product. It isn't something that's standardly available at any pharmacy and the ingredients can vary from doctor to doctor, depending on what they feel will best help their patients.

Specifically, the ingredients in this one are Ketoprofen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory; Lidocaine, which is a topical anesthetic; Baclofen, which is a muscle relaxant; and Gabapentin, which is an anticonvulsant that can also help with certain types of nerve pain. It is meant to be used topically to treat pain and muscle spasms.

Since it is used topically, its typical side effects are related to that, as listed by the FDA, and may include skin redness, irritation and rash.

Did you ingest it, rather than applying it topically?

Hello,

I was wondering if you could explain to me what side effects this topical cream has that the doctor gave my dad for his knee pain and also pain on his hands (joints). The ingredients are...

Flurbiprofen 10%
Cyclobenzaprine 2%
Gabapentin 10%
Lidocaine 5%

Thank you.
