Justfication Of Taking Tab Arimidex-1mg After Total Mastectomy
UpdatedI had mastectomy of my left breast on 19/11/2007 & since than taking daily 1 tab daily which had to be continued till 18/11/2012 as prescribed. After that American research centre group advice me to take nolvadex tab instead of taking arimedex. But my treating doctor knowing this, differ's opinion & continues treatment with arimidex. In the meantime i am going quite ok ,only other than body hot flashes & mild pain. Question is which medicine would have been more effective & justified ? After stoping the medicine what will be the next/future management after completion of 5 years duration of present treatment.
