Found a match it's codiene phosphate, which is an opiate used for its analgesic, antitussive and antidiarrheal properties.

Hi John - so, the tablets are oblong in shape? Is FT the only marking on them, or are there any distiguishable imprints, score marks, etc? Would you happen to know what country they were obtained from? Sorry for all the extra questions, just trying to narrow down any possibilities...

From what I was able to gather I believe you pill may be Valium. Valium is mainly used to treat anxiety, insomnia, and symptoms of acute alcohol or opiate withdrawal. It is also used as a premedication for inducing sedation, anxiolysis or amnesia before certain medical procedures (e.g., endoscopy).
