I am interested in the effects of long term use of phenabarbitol and the effects on the liver.
Long term means 35 years
Have ther been ant articles or law suits

All RX and over the counter drugs affect the liver. In the elderly, it is far more dangerous. If you are fearful, ask your md or pharmacist. Each year, there are over 100,000 deaths from medications. lawsuits? I do not know. I do know not to mix booze and phenobarbital.
