Pause-MF contains the active ingredients Mefenamic Acid and Tranexamic Acid, it is used to help control or stop excessive bleeding.

No, it is not addictive.

As to the irregularities of your cycle, it is normal to have this happen, sometimes. Every woman goes through it, no female stays completely regular for her entire life.

From just the information you have provided and without doing an exam, no one is going to be able to tell you whether or not there is a problem with your uterus. That requires an exam by a doctor and testing.

Have you tried contacting a doctor, yet?

I m Kakali Bagchi,42 yrs. old,I hv a 16yrs.old daughter of normal delivery,6/2/96. For 6 months I m facing heavy period uncontrollable by napkins. Under observation with Dr,I hv done with USG- Pelvis it shows: 1.Uterous bulky & measures LS 12.9 cm,TS 9.6 cm,AP 8 cm Myoma present sized 6.5cm X 6cm Ovaries normal (RO 2.7 cm X 1.3 cm X 1.5cn Dr.prescribed me with Iron tablets & Pause MF ,which in previous period worked-this time failed. Another hormone medicine -Regesterone is prescribed, but it is for 1-2 tablets for 20 days-but whether Regesterone has to be taken for the next period of Menstruation and in continuous-is it safe? if Myoma is operational without surgery?
I'm kakali bagchi,I had embolisation(UFE) on 21/11/12 but it was spotting bleeding till 22/12/12 but after 23/12/12 it has started bleeding again with severe pain-Dr.said it should n't have happened,i consulted other radilologist on tvs-its found submucous fibroid size decreased to 4.7X5.3cm in endometrial cavity,no vascular dr has prescribed me from suspect of having degeneration -combiflam 3/day for 5 days & cifran CT 2/day for 7days and pause mf 2/day
now do you think i can avoid further surgery in this treatment-on stopping pause mf it starts havy clot bleeding-I hv alrady spent a hefty amount on UFE in fear of post surgery complication but I'm facing severe problem even after-Pls.pls reply, how long can I take pause mf

Re: abc (# 3)

I don't have solution for your problem, but i am facing a similar problem I have started using menstrual cups instead of pads. You won't have to worry for at least 12 hrs. DGG
