Taking them together could result in your experiencing more severe side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, and sedation. Thus you should only do so, if they have both been prescribed for you, according to FDA information.

It is best to be cautious, in such cases, since too much sedation could be dangerous, or fatal.
