Hello, Nicky! How are you?

That is a fairly low dose and, if you take it until the time of your surgery, you shouldn't experience any severe withdrawal effects, so it is usually best to follow your doctor's instructions.

The FDA does warn that there is a slight chance that stopping it suddenly may cause nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, diarrhea, and depression.

Are you on any other medications?

Hi thanks for your reply. I take many more meds including tradjenta for diabetes and Zoloft for depression. Also blood pressure meds and others. On a previous surgery I was on norco and did not know I was supposed to wean off and I was seriously depressed. So this lyrica and getting off scares me. I like your advice and makes me feel better. Thank you, Nicky
