Hi I am HIV positive, 39 weeks pregnant and I am on FDC. At the clinic yesterday they gave me ilvitrim so I was wondering if is it safe to take those pills during pregnancy

Im7 weeks pregnancy I'm not HIV positive and I'm at the clinic 2day they give me ilvitrim so isn't safe to drink the tablets

These are antibiotics and should be taken according to the doctor's instructions, if they have decided it would beneficial for you and your baby.

The NIH lists typical antibiotic side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.
