Is Anyone Familar With Larger, Blue And Round 30 Mg Oxycodone

Just got my oxycodone prescription filled for 30 mg oxycodone. These were larger than normal, blue and round in shape. I don't have the number on them, although they are scored. I have been getting my prescription there for years, however the pharmacy states that they usually buy cheaper meds in generic when and where possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated?

Hi Twin,

In my experience, it's a bit unusual for a US pharmacy to dispense pills that only have a score and no other numbers/letters/etc to help ID it. But I think you're right about pharmacies opting for cheaper meds that are sometimes being made outside of the US with different manufacturing policies/standards. If you happen to know who the manufacturer is, this would probably be your best bet for finding out more specific details on the product quality, where it was made, what fillers they're using, etc.. I personally haven't heard of oxycodone tablets being made without any other markings, however, other countries such as India are known to manufacturer meds that fit similar descriptions.

Yes, unfortunately for me I was very happy with the small blue Roxicodone generic 30mg. I found they were getting very hard to come by in the 180 pill count I receive every month. I switched to a small Mom & Mop pharmacy that ordered them for me each month. Then suddenly they went onto indefinite "Back Order". I spent half the day driving around the state to find them. Since then my Pharmacist has had no trouble keeping plenty of the larger Blue 30mg Roxicodone Generics in stock. My opinion is the less filler within the pill the better it works for me. Although I'd prefer the small blue 30's, I'm happy I have no problem getting a full refill every month.
