Hi, Kisha! Sorry about the health issues, I hope they clear up soon.

And no, this is an antibiotic that treats bacterial infections, so it will not treat a yeast infection. These medications can actually cause them by killing off the beneficial bacteria in our bodies.

Learn more Bactrim details here.

And it may not be the right medication to clear up your urinary tract infection, or you may not have enough if you only have leftovers from a prior infection. You should see your doctor for a proper diagnoses and antibiotic, if needed.

To eradicate a yeast infection, you'll need an antifungal medication, such as Fluconazole, which is also available under the brand name Diflucan.

Learn more Diflucan details here.

It requires a prescription from your doctor, but usually just one 150mg tablet is enough to eradicate a yeast infection in a few days.

There are also over the counter remedies available, such as Monistat, but you should always check with your doctor to be certain that it's a yeast infection and that it's safe for you to use them. They also tend to be messy and in many cases require a longer period of use to clear up a yeast infection.

Is there anything else I can help with?

I finished my rx and then got the rash, red face, swollen lips. Vision seems blurry a bit too. Anyone know how long rash lasts?
