Have 10 tab blister pack of caplets with no logo. However, outside says Mallinckrodt. I peeled that away and Inas Pharmaceuticals was on the foil of the blister pack. All I can read is I believe contents: sodium 50mg. but the rest is cut off. Is it possible that Inas manufactures for Mallinckrodt and they add the logo? Are these safe?

Inas Pharmaceuticals is not Mallinckrodt. Inas is located in India. What you have was not maunfactured by Mallinckrodt. There is no way of knowing what the tablets contain.

From what I've researched, BL is correct in stating that there is no relation between Mallinckrodt and Inas Pharmaceuticals. Mallinckrodt reportedly has headquarters in Dublin, Ireland + St. Louis, MO (USA), while Inas is solely based in Gujarat, India. Given this information, it sounds to me like you may have received a counterfeit product of some sort, depending on how you went about obtaining it.

Another red flag worth mentioning in my opinion, is that hydrocodone usually isn't followed by the word "sodium"... in contrast it often has "bitartrate" or "hydrochloride" at the end.

If I were you, I'd consider contacting Inas' customer service department for product inquiries at:

And/or contact Mallinckrodt's "Product Monitoring Department" at:

I hope this helps get to the bottom of things!

It is counterfeit. You should contact Mallinckrodt Security. This is one of the problems of taking products over the internet. You never know what you are going to get.

Re: BL (# 1)

Be safe and dont take it. That country does not have the same drug regulations as the US. Get something else that is made in country.

Re: David (# 2)

I find it quite ironic that people ordering illegal pharmaceuticals from India online without a legal prescription order are worried they might not be taking the real thing.

I think I've tried every generic norco they have out there. All of them never worked. I sat in pain. I was itching so bad on most of them. Or they make me sick to my stomach. Never help me with my pain. All of them are horrible. I tried Rhodes they didn't seem to do anything. Did they work for anyone? I finally found a pharmacist that carries yellow qualities. But they do not work either. I see on this site that everybody is looking for them. But their junk. They have a v on them and numbers on the back. Is that the true qualities? I try to buy the name brand but it's very expensive. But I'm in so much pain. I will change it. But none Pharmacy say they carry it. Please help. Could they be fakes? How can you tell if a Norco is real or not? Without taking into it a lab. I was reading that there's are test strips. But I have no idea where to get them, do you? Or do you know where I can send my medications to lab to see if they're real? Please help. My husband's also disabled, he got malluk yesterday and the imprint was barely readable. There were dull and it just looks weird. He has gotten no relief at all. He's been in bed crying all day. Please help us. How can you tell if our medication's real or not? Thank you very much.
