Immediate Release Amphetamine Capsule

Updated

Started using Evekeo 10 mg 2 x daily. It is ineffective. Supposed to last 4-6 hours -- ACTUALLY 2 hours for me. After two hours I feel like one who is having a panic attack, tight chest, lump in throat ... I am a gastric bypass patient and have used Vyvanse 70 mg which is very effective for between four and five hours. Gastric Bypass patients find that extended release medications anathema because of malabsorption, lack of bioavailability that is a concrete result that the procedure restricts or removes the digestive system's integrity -- (Removal of the stomach's duodenum which produces the necessary acids, enzymes and proteins is truncated/restricted "absent" thereby er/xr formulas' CANNOT BE RELEASED appropriately) so that duration of extended release mechanism is essentially nugatory. Vyvanse 70 mg ought to be supplemented with a "booster" a suggestion to ones psychiatrist/GP is considered "drug-seeking behavior". Do doctors still study GI tract basics: what those aspects of the stomach or GI tract and their role or "function"? Ignorance is bliss? Or have such "trivialities" like Anatomy 101 been completely abandoned? I NEED immediate release medications to mimic the Vyvanse dosage but such requests fall on deaf ears and condescension, concern and professional presumption become accusations. The lack of "knowledge" on the part of those who deal with the entrenched collegial members who practice psychiatric "edicts" spare the underlying, well-reasoned argument-- insurance "Medicare" formularies' (lists and clerical staff) are causing a profoundly "treasonous" culture whose bottom line is in fact "sticking ones head up the ass". This is why honest, law abiding gastric bypass patients will soon (if not all ready) pursue black market "remedies that violate legal strictures causing a furtherance of black market tactics)-- a market that offers mostly, inferior, if not, toxic, and dangerous "alternatives." Legal action and malpractice cases ought to become the norm driving doctors into malpractice insurance premiums to such heights to drive them out of business! Teva generic ER amphetamine salts 20 mg (capsule) have been offered to me as a solution instead of the more easily abused immediate release, base, ineffective and cheap... Help (and forgive the rant).
