My son's temperature is very high and the doc gave him the ilvitrim suspension and he's got a runny nose. Please advise if this will help him?

Hello, Mamosa! How are you?

There is a chance that his symptoms are being caused by an infection, which is what an antibiotic like this is intended to treat. Thus, you should use it according to the doctor's instructions.

It may cause some side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
