I'm on 1 extended release MS extended release every 12 hours and accidentally took it twice. Should I be concerned? Never had this happen before.

Hello, Barbara! How are you? Did you experience any adverse effects?

Doubling up like that may create a risk of overdose, so it could be dangerous. Anytime you are worried about such an issue, you should immediately contact your doctor or call emergency services, rather than post on a free website and wait for an answer. While there are always those of us online that are happy to help, we cannot administer life saving measures over the Internet, should they be required.

The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
