Hysingla Er 30 Mg

I have been on hysingla er 30 mg for a week. I was taking vicoprofin 7-325 5 x a day for severe back and hip pain. I don't feel anything on this medication. I've had a bad backache for 3 day s now and I am "waiting" for it to "kick in". It hasn't yet. I've been taking Advil which is helping a little. Why am I not getting relief from this medicine? They say is so strong. Are you joking? I feel nothing. I am wearing a clonidine patch in case I feel any withdrawals. Any answers?

I was taking 65mg Hyslinga and it worked for my spine pain so maybe you need a stronger dose. Plus I think it needs to build up in your system a little to get 24 hour relief.

Hello, Brdie! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain and this medication isn't working.

Hyslinga contains the active ingredient Hydrocodone, in a time released formulation. So it is only lacking the Acetaminophen and it doesn't work all at once, the medication is slowly released over time.

Have you consulted your doctor? You may need a higher dosage.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
