What can anybody tell me about Hydroxyzine pamoate?

Dear Kim,
I have been taking both the 25 and 50 milligram tablets for about 3 years now for generalized anxiety disorder.The only side effects i have noted are cotton mouth and dizziness plus they will make you go to sleep,they are also used for some skin rashes or itching and post surgery instances for sleep.Dont drive on them for at least 8 hours because they will impair reflexes slightly.

Im scared to take any medication because of a bad side effect I had from one and my doctor gave me hydroxyzine pamoate 50mg capsules if I was to have a side effect how long will it last I'm try get myself to take this pill but just know their are side effects make me on edge

could there be any problem using hydroxyzine pamoate 50mg (just before a biopsy) if it was dispensed 4/11/11 but safely kept out ot light and tenp .of 72 deg.

Hydroxyzine Pamoate is used primarily as an antihistamine for the treatment of itches and irritations, an antiemetic for the reduction of nausea, as a weak analgesic by itself and as an opioid potentiator, and as an anxiolytic for the treatment of anxiety.

Several adverse reactions have been noted in manufacturer guidelines, such as deep sleep, incoordination and dizziness have been reported in children and adults, as well as others such as hypotension, tinnitus and headaches.
