Hydrocodone Acetaminophen 5/325 For A Toothache

I took a 5/325mg hydrocodone for a toothache. It's been half an hour and no pain relief yet.. I haven't slept for 3 days, HELP.

Hello, Rebecca! How are you doing? Have you consulted your dentist, yet?

Not every medication works for everyone that tries it and if you have a dental infection, then the pain from that can be very severe.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

Additionally, if it is due to an infection, you're going to also need an antibiotic to help clear it up.

I took one hydrocodone 3604 for a toothache and the pain went away for about an hour and a half. Then the pain came back and it seems it was a little bit worse than before! What gives? I'm afraid to take another one thinking the pain might come back even worse! Can I mix it with something else?
