H2 is actually 550 mg of Naproxen ( Anaprox ), which does provide pain relief but is totally different from Hydrocodone. This is actually considered an anti-inflammatory, whereas Hydocodone is a narcotic.
Roy is absolutely correct, this is not a narcotic, nor related to one.
This is a prescription strength of the medication your normally see sold over the counter in the name brand medication Aleve.
I have crontic backpain and have been prescribed dyhydrocodiene and codiene phosphate at different times. What is the difference?
Johos, both of those drugs are closely related to one-another and are typically prescribed for the same things. I am not sure why they would switch you between one and the other, perhaps to reduce the body's dependence?? Anyways, you can read more about each drug on the pages for Dihydrocodeine Details and Codeine Details respectively.
Thank you for that. It was different GPs in different countries so I was just checking. I am very careful about drug taking.
