How Soon Can U Take A Suboxone After Your Last Heroin Use

I have six orange round an 415 suboxone pills I want to kick my herion habit. When can I take a pill I am afraid of being sick. Will these help?

I can understand being afraid of being sick, BUT if you take suboxone too soon then it'll throw you into the worst part of withdrawals and you'll wish you'd never taken them. I know it's not what you want to hear, but you NEED to wait til you're feeling a bit yucky for them to really do their thing. Optimally, you need to wait 18 - 24 hours from your last fix to take your first dose of suboxone. If you were to go to an ambulatory detox center or a methadone/suboxone clinic (since a lot of methadone clinics now also prescribe suboxone as well), they'd make you wait at least that long before dosing you because anything less isn't optimal.

Hang in there! I know it's a rough thing to kick and it sucks being sick. You can make it if you try.

I need a dr that gives benzos and suboxin. I need them prescribed but my Dr in Adams County will not take a chance with it. I have heard of Dr's in Cincinnati gives both.

Please do not take xanax.or other benzos with suboxone. Contraindications are heart issues when mixed. My neighbor is dead due to that mixture of medication. I'm a RN and
Disabled . Have been off those for years.
Do not be tempted by thinking,"just one time". Addicts have a mind that LIES to us.Cunning, baffling, and powerful.
Just.a side note: Most MDs have very little pharmacology. Nurses were the eyes and ears for doctors. Now drug reps.Be smart, stay.well

you have to either have a really low tolerance (vicodin/percocet/and if it's heroin really really low habit) for suboxone to be effective. then you have to wait until you're so sick you can't stand it. this is redundant in my opinion because methadone you can just start taking as soon as you feel a little bad and it helps immensly (though coming off methadone is worse than any other opiate). you have to let yourself get so sick before suboxone will help (and not kick you into precipitated withdrawals) that in my opinion if you're already that far into withdrawal you might as well keep going without any medicine. heavy opioid users will need to wait a good 48 hours (NOT 24) before dosing. hope this was helpful
