Are you certain it is a sinus infection? Has a doctor confirmed this?

If you use an antibiotic and it isn't an infection, you run the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria.

The usual dosage for a sinus infection, of the 500mg tablets, is one, every 6 hours.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea.

My doctor recently prescribed a 7-day course of ampicilina for my gum infection. He wants me to take two, 1-gram capsules per day. However, he told my to get to a dentist as quickly as possible. I need a deep cleaning for my teeth (cleaning under the gums) and without that, he believes the infection will simply come back.
