Have copd and shortness of breath. Dr called in this med for me. Have taken 3 pills and no improvement. Is that just too soon. I feel like I either have a mucus plug or exasperated. Not sure. Just need fast relief.

To know if an antibiotic is working, you shouldn't see any worsening of your condition after taking it for 24 hours and improvement should start after being on it for 3 days, so yes, that's a little to soon to expect a change.
Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
