I have been taking prescribed oxycodone since 2010 for pain management. I take about 80 to 120 milligrams a day. How long does it take to clear out of your system to pass a urine test?

I never take pills at all but have had a toohave paint or a few days iv taken 40 milligrams not oxycodone it's Monday I have ever 4 panel urin rest friday

I have an appointment today with my pain management doctor. I am prescribed oxycodone 5 mg 3 times a day. I suspect I will have a urine screen today. My question is will the test show the amount of oxycodone in my system or just that there is oxycodone in my system?

2 to 5 days in urine. Especially if you took any mgs day before test.

No most doctors don't check for levels if that are only collecting urine. However be concern if blood work is taken. But for blood work it has to be serious and further cause for it. It is very expensive to check blood work vs urine. Urine is the most practiced.

I HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING OF HORRIBLE ABDOMINAL PAIN TO. FAMILY DR, GI DR, HAD TWO SURGERIES, TELLING PAIN DR. IM AT POINT I CAN'T HANDLE THE ABDOMINAL PAIN ANYMORE, PAIN SO BAD WAKING UP SCREAMING. JUST HAD CT SCAN OF MY LIVER AND IT SAID LIVER VERY SWOLLEN. THE PAIN IS WAY WORSE THAN MY RSD, I ALMOST FAINT FROM IT. WHY WOULD DR DO CHEEK SWAB ON ME. NEVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH ME AND I DO EVERYTHING ANY DR TELLS ME TO DO. NOW I'M TERRIFIED HE DID IT AS AN EXCUSE TO GET RID OF ME CAUSE MY DOSES ARE SO HIGH. HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND AFTER 20 PLUS YEARS I HAVE SUPER HIGH TOLERANCE LEVEL. HES TRYING TO FORCE ME ONTO MEDICAL MARIJUANA THAT I CAN'T AFFORD. ANY CLUE WHY HE WOULD DO THIS? WHATS HE CHECKING WITH THE DANGEROUSLY HIGH LEVELS IM ON? I THINK HE WANTS TO DROP ME. CAN HE JUST DROP ME WITH MASSIVE HIGH LEVELS IM ON NOT TO MENTION THE OTHER BAD MEDICAL CONDITIONS I HAVE BESIDES RID, HEART FAILURE, CANCER, OSTEOPOROSIS, MY BACK IS MANGLED, NEUROPATHY, BAD DIABETES. IM AFRAID IF HE STOPS ME SUDDENLY WITH MY POOR HEALTH HE COULD KILL ME. AFTER OVER 20 YEARS OF TAKING MEDS EVERYDAY, IM AFRAID I WOULD DIE. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME IM SO SCARED!!!!

It will test that just oxycodone is in your system don't worry yes they can see how much amount that there is in your system but I'm pretty sure they're not going to No Worries your good.

They usually give a very detailed test at pain clinics
They want to test for drugs that shouldn't be present and the drugs they are prescribed to u. And yes they will test amounts in your system. Swim was kicked out of a clinic for not having the oxy and gabapentin I was prescribed. Plus I was dirty for h. But yes most clinics test everything.

Thats wrong I been on OxyCodone since 2010 . I have 24 ortho injuries , ms and Avn hip knee and ankle . Never failed a drug test before , laws changed in va last 1 screens was false positive it showed in my system but only at 50 cut off level is 100 , I was honest and told her my tolerance grew plush I had been in icu and I get 4 30s a day, use to also get 2 20 mg cotins I took myself off cotins the make me feel sedated but just OxyCodone alone I'm fine , I have 4 girls youngest 9 and Austic I can't be sedated . But beware there is a new drug screen being used by. Doctors that can tell how much u take . 4 30s I should have hit 100 easily but I was low so I was spreading them thin , she did not share this with me till 2 test came up same 3 months later. But my father in law just passed with als lou garrets diseaae diagnosed may passed this weeken . Fastest case to be recorded , mother has heart attack. Father had 5 stroke who lived with me , my brother had 3 stroke bleeding on Brian coma he's awake but over a month of pt he's being diagnosed perminate having to have care taker and wheel chair , all this in 2 month plus I'm labels permanently disabled. And just found a hughe cyst on bottom iof 11 year old spine prob has same generic disorder as I. Waiting generic result now I go tomorrow if I should
blow it up but Cana get an strait answer on how many mg to reach 100 cut off . My tolerance is grown and they keep wanting to put me all seditive narcotics which I refuse do toe my children . Just beware thwrevie w test doc are uaing that will pick up level in your Gisf bless you and family

If this doctor has been giving you rx for pain meds for years and decides he don't want to anymore , if he just drops you without weaning you off or detoxing you he is putting your health at risk. I would talk to a lawyer. That is a serious issue. Be careful!!!! God Bless You
