Need to know how long after taking a dose of Percocet 10 mg, three times a day, will it show up in the urine?

When I first became pregnant I was on opiates for pain and was unaware that I was pregnant. Judging by what my OB thought my date of conception was I musta been on them for a good few weeks before stopping. I must admit when I found out was pregnant and I was infact 8wks or so along I was very upset that I had been taking those pills in that condition. My OB directed me to see a genetic counsler and she resured me that every should be fine. My daughter is now five and a heathly lil girl.

I took 2 5mg Percocet's (the ones without aspirin) labeled 05-32 or 52 - hard to read). I took them early Friday morning. I weigh approx 125lbs and have an average metabolism. What do you think the chances are that a urine test would show up positive Monday evening approx 82 hours later - 3 1/2 days. Thank you.

3 hours is normal time for it to pass thru urine!

The answer is one hour but it depends on a few factors like metabolism and how recently you have eaten

I have been taking between 25-30mg of oxycodone daily for about a year, and have a SAMHSA-5 drug screen for a job in 14 days. I've stopped taking them all together as of now, will I be clean for the drug test in 14 days? I am 23 years old, 165lbs, I am active, and have a fairly high metabolism. I am healthy minus a few recovering knee injuries (why I have been taking them). I would like to know an estimate of the time frame of when I should be clean, and if possible how long the withdrawals will last while going cold turkey. Additionally, I have read in different places online that oxycodone does not show up on a 5-panel test under an opioid, as oxycodone is actually a semi-synthetic opiate. Can somebody please clarify these questions for me, I would greatly appreciate it.

3 days for a chronic user and the withdrawal could last up to 2 weeks. Typically a week of night sweats and having to use the restroom a lot!

Yea three days for your system to be clean, and oxycodone will show up as opiate on a 5 panel i've failed one and was able to look at it the whole time. only had oxycodone so I know it will show up. As far as how long the withdrawal will last depends. I've done alot of reading on the topic and various studies have shown that people who aren't abusing their medications (opiates) will not have as bad of withdrawal when stopping that medication. But i'm pretty sure that means a proper titration of the meds cause you aren't supposed to just stop cold turkey from any dose. From experience I will tell you most of the withdrawal symptoms are in your head. Alot of people may disagree with me ESP when you are going through it. But let me say that I've been through withdrawal many times and three of those times I was put in jail for a few days until I was bailed out, and I can say when I was in jail and absolutely knew I couldn't get pills I barely had any symptoms. I couldn't sleep and had diarrhea pretty bad but besides that I was ok. I didn't feel bad at all except for feeling cold but they keep this jail cold to try and reduce the spread of virus our some BS like that, plus normally I get cold easily so that's just me.

Ok enough with that, also if you have a valid prescription for pills (you said you had surgery) the testing facility either isn't suppose to tell your employer you have a positive for that or they are supposed to say they know you have a valid prescription and employers aren't supposed to hold stuff like that against you but i'm sure you know for the most part that is just BS. If your emitter knows they may not hire you because of it.

Thanks mike for the information. Especially that u know first hand that oxycodone will show up on a 5-panel (I would rather have that first hand account rather than what some of the people's posts who guess or prob don't actually know) . Since I've been so sketched out, I'm still going cold turkey and I guess the withdrawals aren't too bad. Probably cause I don't really care how bad they are as long as I have some peace of mind. And as you say it takes 3 days to clear out of your system, I feel confident I will pass. Thanks again for the help Ill post to let u know how it goes.

Good luck and stay away from pills, i'm sure you've heard it before but man if you go cold turkey for two Weeks just keep on with that man.I could tell some stories but it's the same old BS ya know.just be careful and good luck

It's harder than yes or no. all indications point to yes but there are alot of variables. These include your height our more importantly your physique because that will likely determine your metabolism or how fast your stomach and body will process anything ingested. Also how soon after you ate the bagel which normally would increase metabolizing your stomach contents due to the release of acids but the food/liquid could potentially dilute the drug. There are way to many variables to take into account but by all means assume you failed and hope you passed.

3 hours is more than enough time to get into your stem but being it was only 5 Mgs and you had liquid intake which helps dilute, also being it was power aid if it did dilute it enough chances are the proper vitamins were still i'm the urine.

Also another tip (I know it's a little late) is to make sure you don't use the urine that comes from the beginning our end of the urine stream as they usually contain the most of the metabolites they look for. Hope this helps

I am hoping someone can explain something to me. I take 6 perk 10s daily and I do not have a script. I had a drug test last week that they sprung on me at work. They take us to the place and wait and take us back to work. Of course I couldn't get out of it so when they gave me the result 2 days later and told me everything was fine I nearly fainted. The drug test was at 2pm. I took a pill at 7am, 10am and 130pm. I have no idead how I passed. I have been taking them for years.

Lucky you, it depends though, they may have only been looking for weed coke heroin, or they could have assumed you had a prescription though unlikely. Another possibility is that they mixed up you sample with someone else's though that is very unlikely also. They were probably only testing for marijuana or coke.

i snorted 3 5mgs percs throughout the whole day did my last half around 12 30 am tonight and have a random drug that i did not know about 12 pm tomorrow do you think this will be gone out of my system , i use mostly everyday but no more then 3 5 mgs ? , can someone please help me , if so what can i do? , i have alot at stake and this came out of no where .

Your kinda screwed your best bet is to get a flush drink and follow the directions or just drink like 36 to 48 oc's like an hour to two hours before hand to dilute the urine. A dilute urine can be considered a fail for a test but it will give you some room to say you want a second test.
