i need to know how ong fentanyl 100mcg/hr stay in your urine. how long can it be detected after taking your patch off?

I'm in the same boat, but I've been chewing them on a regular basis for a couple of months, 100mcg every other day. I got into this because my pain doctor retired, and I was on 15 mg Percocet, 4x daily. And my new pain doc can't see me for two months. My friend is on fentanyl, 100mcg, and changes her patches every other day and she let's me get hers. While it's not full strength, it's still pretty potent. Well, my first appointment is less than a month away, and I'm worried about it still being in my system, because going cold turkey will throw me into a tailspin, I've decided to cut back and come down easy. Have you found out how long it stays in your system?
