How Long Does Doxepin Take To Adjust To?

Updated

Having a lot of fatigue and mental fog during the day after my nightly dose of 10mg. Also experiencing dry and red eyes. It's been 3 nights. Does this subside after some time? If so how long?

Those are listed by the NIH as being normal side effects and yes, they should subside, once your body gets used to the medication, but that may take about 4 weeks. Other side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and weight changes.

Is there anything else I can help with?

Thank you so much for your reply. Are the weight changes from eating more or the way your body digests food/drink? I'm concerned about the weight changes. I feel like i may be retaining more water.
