I have to take a drug test next week, seven days, and took 2 mg of ativan, i was wondering if it will show in a urine test. I am 165 lbs and have a reasonably high metabolism.

After 7 days, no it should not show in a urine test, thought it will be detectable much longer in blood, tissue or hair tests.

If yo have a valid prescription, all you have to do though is tell them that when you go in for the test.

Ativan contains the active ingredient Lorazepam, it is a Benzodiazepine used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, irritability and headache.

Ativan is water soluble. If you drink plenty of water it will be out of your urine in 36 hours. Trust me on this on, i speak from experience.

I am not sure who these people are that say ativan will be out of your system in just a couple days. I have seen many people fail drug tests after taking ativan 40 days ago. In most people it takes 30 days to get out of your urine. good luck

Not necessarily Ativan won't always stay in your system that long if it's your drug of choice and the person is doing it constantly then yeah it will be in for that long however if the person only uses once to twice 4mg or less it can be out of your system of you drink a lot of water every one metabolizes differently what works for one maybe the exact opposite
