How Is Aleria Dispensed
UpdatedI heard of a drug called aleria on TV and want to know if it's pills of inj's. or? How's it dispensed? What's it prescribed for or is it an in-clinic or hospital medication?
Me too! Nurse Jackie wtf is it?
Having trouble finding out. ANYWHERE!!!!
There's actually a youtube video that was published on January 6th, 2015 promoting a prescription-based anti-aging skin cream by the name of "Alaria RX". They advertise it towards treating skim damage, wrinkles, dark circles, puffiness, promoting skin rejuvenation, and as a powerful antioxidant. However, Vitamin C appears to be its main driving force behind these claims...
Other topics relating to the name "Aleria or Alaria" don't seem to yield any relevant search engine results pertaining to a specific medication outside of this - at least in my findings. So, based off that information, I'm led to believe that the TV commercial was probably referring to this skin cream.
Hope this helps!
Unless it's in drugs trials somewhere it is not to be found on the Internet. I say Nurse Jackie made it up.
I think it's clear that Nurse Jackie made this up, possibly for legal reasons. I also did a search of the drug after watching Nurse Jackie and since there isn't a trace of it anywhere online, I think we can all draw this logical conclusion.
Nurse Jackie didn't make it up Aleria is mixture of oxycodone and naloxone to block opioid receptors in the gut to keep people from being constipated......do better research for all you guys who thought it was made up.
Med student
I have tried Elyria fairly new receptors for your good for constipation doesn't work
How about a link or citation, o wise Med Student?
A little hard to research when one doesn't even know the correct spelling.
Elyria is a made up drug on the show Nurse Jackie
I don't know where med student found his information, but the drug he is describing is actually called Targinact or Targin...more info can be found here but there is nothing on this site that refers to the name Alaria.

Those who say they have taken Aleria are full of s***. I have tried several different spelling's on the internet search engines and many different types I will add. Ya'll are full of it. It's just a made up drug on nurse jackie! Ya'll are crazy!!!
Shouldn't a med student know that there's no such combination of drug available in the US and even if there was that there's no such thing as samples of Schedule II narcotics? They're so tightly controlled that they require a written prescription that can't be refilled so there's no way in hell a drug rep is getting samples of them to give to docs, even with signatures. If you believe I'm incorrect, please provide the brand name as one mentioned above is not available in the US and the other was available but their FDA application was discontinued after being approved less than a year, it's been discontinued since at least March of 2015.
Targiniq ER is a brand name for the naloxone/oxy hybrid. Probably due to confidentiality, and/or discretion, the staff of Nurse Jackie came up with a faux name for a real product. Don't really see what all the fuss is about.
smartest answer on the whole message board lol
It's fake all you drug seekers ahahahahahahahaha me too I love the show though.
I've been on Percocet 10 /325 & Morphine 60mgs would this drug keep my pain level the same without the blockage in my bowels?
Naloxone, blocks opiates from the body right? I am a clean opiate patient and have been for many years. However I do have a naloxone pen so if I were to relapse and overdose a friend or family member can inj. me with that which blocks all opiates from the system for 20 to 30 mins in order to save your life. So I really struggle to believe that a pharmaceutical company would mix naloxone and opioids together? Maybe I am wrong. Sometimes junkies know more than Dr's, sorry med student!
It is not a made up drug. It is a combination of oxycodone and naloxone. It is made so that it is harder to abuse. If swallowed it reacts as normal. If tampered with, the naloxone is activated and the medication will not work.
I have seen some Information that I cannot seem to find again that shows a drug that does mix the 2 but is not called Aleria so I will apologise to the Med student as he or she may be half right! Anyhow drugs are bad!! Stay clean people X X x
It is called Aleria. It is in fact two different drugs. Oxycodone and nalaxone. But in fact it is called Aleria. The show had never made up any other meds, and they didn't make up this one.
