HISTEX™ I/E is a single-agent antihistamine that is indicated for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergies and urticaria for patients 12 years of age and older. HISTEX™ I/E utilizes patent pending Dynamic Variable Release™ technology that allows for immediate and extended release of carbinoxamine maleate. Each HISTEX™ I/E capsule contains 2 mg of immediate-release carbinoxamine maleate and 8 mg of extended-release carbinoxamine maleate. HISTEX™ I/E is conveniently dosed 1 capsule twice-daily.
