Heroin False Positive Swab Drug Test

I've been clean of heroin over a year and down to 25mls of methadone. I also consume hash.. I've been given clean swabs since Christmas. Last week I gave a swab and today I was told that it came out positive for heroin and my heart dropped because i didn't do anything. I just feel I need to prove it.. Why would this happen? Any help?

I stopped using heroin on the 12th October I get swab tested twice a week my drugs worker gave me my results and 4 of them have come back positive for heroin and I have no idea I havnt touched it I don't know what to do my husband doesn't believe me and I am trying to get my baby back I need to prove my innocence as my whole life is depending on it what else could of caused this

I am having the same issue... I'm on methadone 100mg, and my pass 4 swabs are positive for heroin???? Counsler didn't believe me.. taken my Take homes now.... I havnt used heroin in freaking 7 months... how can this be??

I'm on 160 mg of methadone and I was a phase 4. I got 4 take homes and today I was told I failed for herion again. This is the 2nd time they said I failed for herion in the past 3 months. I have not used or even been around herion or any drugs. How could this be possible!!!??? Like I'm so upset and was crying over this cuz I am doing the right thing and been clean and now i got my take homes taken and dyfs called one SAI for something I ain't t do!!! I can't believe this is happening to me!!!

Just happened to me. My test from june 22nd came back for heroin and ecstasy. I've never taken ecstasy and haven't had H since july 26th, 2016 so almost a full year... I've had clean drug tests since aug 2016. I had 4 take homes that are now taken away. My counselor believes i didn't use but the owner of clinic will not allow retesting; even if i pay for a hair follicle test to prove i didn't use she wont accept it so i now have to go to the clinic everyday again and start over earning my take homes..im so mad cuz i honestly didn't use and even if i can prove it, it wont matter.. So a year of hard work earning take homes and doing all im supposed to gone..i told them i took mucinex, nyquil and antibiotics around the time of that test and at 1st the nurse and counselor said that wouldn't cause a positive but i looked it up and asked the other nurses and yes they can but again it dont matter..i would love to do a hair test just to prove it even though they dont care but i cant afford it so im not gonna take money that's for my bills or food to prove it if it wont help..all other clinics i've heard of allow retesting and if you can prove it you get take homes back..i would switch clinics but this is the closest. It's messed up cuz a lot of people could have their life destroyed over this..i know most say they didn't use when this happens but i truly didn't and i am sure many others really didn't either :/
