I AM STRUGGLING TAKING ANY MEDICATION FOR IT. i HAVE SEVERE SIDE EFFECTS, WITH PEEING ALL THE TIME, YEAST INFECTION AND HEAD SPINNING - FEEL LIKE I AM GOING TO LOSE MY MIND. MY HIGHEST BLOOD SUGAR READING HAS NOT BEEN ABOVE 200, USUALLY AROUND 150-180. I FEEL LIKE I CAN'T HANDLE THIS ANYMORE. I STOPPED TODAY AFTER ONLY 1 WEEK. 10 MG. HELP!!!!!!! What medications have you tried for your diabetes?

The FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, stomach pain, and diarrhea.

Are you on any other medications? Why was the Lipitor prescribed? New research studies published by the NIH lists them as not being very helpful for cholesterol levels. Researchers are actually exploring the possibility the we have misunderstood cholesterol.
