Geodon Help~

I have been bipolar 30 yrs, i am 44. Many medications, didn't seem to be working so started using crystal meth. Been clean for three years but in depressive episode 3 years can't shake it. cant work. dr. gave me geodon 5 days ago to try along with my lamictal. about three hrs after taking it, i have to go to sleep. help! sleep is depressing. Someone posted something about feeling like they were on speed with geodon, i would rather feel like you do then so down it is hard to leave the house! any suggestions? thanx

I am 25 and don't know exactly how long I have been bipolar, but was diagnosed 2 yrs. ago. My dr. put me on geodon along w/my lamictal, zoloft and xanax b/c I haven't been sleeping well. I hope it works, b/c just by reading some of the comments from others...I am just a little freaked out!

I take lamictal, Seroquel and Zoloft in the morning and Elavil, Topamax and Seroquel at night. In the morning (4:30a.m.) I am overly energentic. I can't settle down until I take my night-time meds. I gained a lot of weight and I don't know which med. it was that gave me the munchies, but I'm trying to correct that problem now. I am a recovering addict and I do have to stay away from the benzodiazopam so Seroquel is a good supstitute for that as long as you take it as perscribed.

I am 33 and it has taken 10 years to get diognosed and I still don't know if I'm taking the right commbonation of medication. Some days I feel great and others I feel like I want to hide in my room and unplug the phone and just cry. For no reason. I don't want anyone to touch me, talk to me or even be anywhere around me. Try cymbalta. I am a user of crystal meth and trying to get clean but cant go cold turkey.
with the cymbalta i am slowly weening myself. but i just heard about Meditate trying to research it know. I haven't been diagnosed bypolor, but i have used crystal for way too long put i am a single mom and have to keep my job can't seem to do it cold turkey and i still need the energy to do all that a single mom as to do.
