Hi, this is the first time I have been given the A333 oxycodone 10 -325. Normally I get the Watson 10 - 325 which has always been a decent generic brand. The Watsons 10 -325 are manufactured in the U.S.A. but I am not sure where the A333 are made or if they are equivalent to the Watsons. If you can answer my question it would be greatly appreciated. Donald I have some yellow round 230 10/325 and they make me sick to my stomach also. The endocets always have worked well for me but I can't seem to find a pharmacy that carries them anymore.

My doc prescribes oxycodone 10-325. Usually I was getting A333 from walgreens. Last week, I went I filled at target. No great reason just cause I was shopping there. They gave endocet. I'm sick frpm them. They do okay for my back but the fillers are killing me. I'm going to have to hold on for a couple more weeks and ask my doc for an early refill maybe. These yellow endocets are horrible.

Hello,
I've been taking the A333's for at least 6 months and they work well for my pain relief. Nothing is going to take the pain away completely if you are suffering from chronic pain, but this brand does work well to take the edge off of the severe pain that I have had for many years.

Michael and any other reader's, Watson was sold to a comp any now called Actavis. I think you will find that this product won't work. It is as bad as Anmeal. Google Actavis and read about the sale and remember they are allowed to take some of the chemicals that are the pain side of things out by 20%. Call these companies and they will explain. We who live with Chronic Pain now just have to suffer more!!!!

In my opinion endo pharmacutils manufacture the brand as well. Unfortunately they r back order so I had to use a333

@micheal...I'm curious to know what State u are in? I used to get the Watson brand which was the ONLY kind that truly worked for my pain, but I can not find any pharmacy that carries that brand! They have all claimed that there is no Watson brand on the market any longer. I researched this any even contacted Watson Pharmaceutical and it has been taken over by Actavis. So I'm very confused as to where u could have possibly been getting the Watson brand percocet? If this brand is somehow back on the matker, Please let me know. Thanks!

Chrissy.....ive been taking endocet. ....its generic Percocet made by the same company that makes brand Percocet. Theyre helping. ..just not as well as Watson's. ..but then again, nothing will. Generics have a 20% variance. ....meaning they have this 20% area where they can add 20% more or20% less of the active ingredient compared to name brand. What I honestly feel is Watson's had to have more active ingredients making it anywhere from 101% to 120% more than brand....which is y we're all finding it impossible to find anything else that comes close to giving us the same pain control as Watson's. I hope that made sense...I tried to explain it the best way I could. ....actacrap. ..what I call it must be somewhere in the 80% tile...that could make it a possible 40% difference in active ingredients...a huge difference in pain control.
Ive also tried mallinkrodt. ...its ok but endocet seems to help me more. There are 5 Walgreen s in my town...only 2 will special order them for me. ..the other three won't. So if one store tells u no...drive, dont call, drive to another n ask them if they will. Let us know what happens!

I didn't even know that a person could do that? I notice the round yellow pills takes away my pain. The oblong pills do nothing and I need pain relief to function! Thanks for the advice!

Our CVS pharmacist told me he would exchange mine if the others came in. They won't. I got brand name Percocet last month, $200 instead of $5. It worked but not much better than the Watson. This month I went to a local pharmacy. I'll post how the product they gave me works. CVS will only get the A333. It is mandated further up, according to our CVS pharmacist. He cannot order what he wants, just what CVS says.

Watson has been purchased by actavis. ..they stopped making the Watson Percocet generics n replaced them with their own generic s. The actavis are nowhere near as effective as the Watson 10/325. If you search throughout this site, u will find many many people suffering due to being given the actavis including myself. Many of us have called actavis and the fda to make complaints. People have Bern calling and going to different pharmacies to try other manufacturer's generics. So far, from what im reading, some people are using mallinkrodt (so?) Or endocet which are both generic Percocet 10/325 medication s. I haven't tried either yet so can't vouch....just passing on what has been posted on other threads.. good luck!

Hi I just received the a333 I had them before and they do work but not a sufficient and quicker then the watson. If I take it back to c vs to see if I can get the watson 10/325 can the exchange them? I got the script from the ER I was experiencing sever to chronic back pain.

Hello. Its funny you mention the difference in reaction for different people...I've been prescribed the watson 932's before and they didn't work all that well for me. Recently I was prescribed the a333's and found they work pretty well, for a generic pill. And nowadays it's hard to keep track of all the different imprints since there have been companies closing down, new ones starting. Also, I've heard of a few that have merged.

I couldn't agree with you any more . The a333 are crap. I have been on the watons932 for a few years and there is no comparison. Right now the pharmacy(WalMart) has given me another generic, oblong with a M523 on one side and 10/325 on the other. Well they don't work as well either, but are a little better than the a333. I have one more month of these before I see my doc and will talk to him. Not only that but my insurance carrier may not cover anything else. We shall see, and good luck with you.

I don't know what they are made of, but they surely don't work as well as the round, white ones I had received for two years. I know the answers....they are all the same. Well, they are not. The CVS pharmacist says for a calendar year, only so much percocet is allowed to be manufactured. At the end of the year, there is no choice in manufacturers. This sounds like a story to me. Anyone know the real story? And of course, I can't switch pharmacies, as I am on a signed contract with the doctor. She did say I can find out if other pharmacies have the round product. Sure....

Yeah, sometimes manufacturers use different inactive ingredients, so it is possible that one brand vs another will be felt differently. Definitely request a specific manufacturer from your pharmacy if you notice a difference.

Hi again, I'm sorry to disagree with you but I can notice the difference between the Watson pills and A333. Even though they are made by the same company,the A333's are the generic of generics. They do not react as well as the Watson 932's do. The next time I get a refill, I will make sure the Pharmacy has the Watson brand. Now I'm not saying that they can't work for some other people, because everyone is different,but they just don't do it for me.
