Garcinia Cambogia And Suboxone

I'm currently taking suboxone. Can I take garcinia cambogia pills for weight loss? I have heard from people on methadone that it pushes them into withdrawal.

I'm on 3 mlgs of Suboxone. I also want to take Garcina Cambogia and pure apple cider vinegar. Does anyone know if there is any drug interactions with these? Other posts have said that heve gone into withdrawal. Thanks

Yes it does. Garcia Camborgia made me fail a drug panel for the presence of Buprenorphine. Garcia Cambogia metabolizes the medication out of your system so it’s like you never took the medication.

Hello Scubalove,

I was not able to find a credible source that shows there is an adverse interraction between the two but I have found multiple sources of unsupported discussions and forums that claim the Malabar tamarind fruit causes your body to metabolize the medication and flushes it out of your system. Unfortunately there is no documentation that I could find under a reliable source that claims either is true.

Perhaps the best option here would be to simply wait until you have finished with suboxone and then take the garcinia cambogia pills. Ultimately this will be your choice.

Just an FYI. Not on Methadone but I am taking tramadol for chronic pain. The Nazi FDA has put the fear of God into our weak backboned physicians. I was taking Vicodin until my doc started running scared. I also am taking Xanax for a lifelong chronic anxiety disorder and moderate depression. My experience with this CG supplement was BAD. After just 2 days, I had to stop it. It made me jittery and messed with my anxiety in the worst way. Too bad because I spent a lot of money on this supplement.
